Prepare to Launch: RAW DATA Early Access

Greetings, SyndiK8 operatives! I’m Spencer, and I’m the sensei over at the official Raw Data Steam community! With Early Access coming out July 14–officially less than a week–the Survios team wanted to connect with everyone and share what we’ve got coming up.

If you’re active within the Steam community, you’ve probably already noticed that several of the Survios devs are already there! Going forward, consider yourselves honorary members of the Survios dev team, because you guys are an integral part of the journey from Early Access to final release. We’ll be answering your questions and passing feedback along to ensure Raw Data is the most immersive, compelling, and complete VR title you’ve ever experienced.
Along with keeping you regularly updated here on Steam, we’ll also be sharing exclusive news and content* on Survios’ social media channels–Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook–plus prepping the official Survios blog with dev insights, game feature spotlights, and more.

*That includes awesome content made by you guys, like the display of VR badassery by Twitter fan @NoMercyLeroy featured above. If you’ve got any amazing play videos, physics tricks, gifs, or fanart, we want to see it and share it!

 

WELCOME TO EDEN

What are some of the new features you can expect in Early Access? For starters, we’ve got four exciting missions you can undertake within Eden Corp’s expansive headquarters in Neo-Shinjuku. And every single one is packed with Eden’s deadliest killing machines, from standard-issue Automos to carpet-bombing Hornet Drones to heavy-hitting charging mechs and tons more.

Oh, and you can move. That’s right: teleportation has officially arrived in Raw Data. Get up close and personal with your flash blade, or blink away and riddle them with bullets from a distance: suiting every playstyle.

 

SYNDIK8 RECRUITMENT

Early Access also introduces you to the first two SyndiK8 heroes with whom you’ll be infiltrating Eden Corp: Bishop, the pistol-wielding Gun Cleric, and Saija, the telekinetic Cyber Ninja. Their official operative dossiers are coming soon!

 

SQUASHING BUGS & TAKING NAMES

Encounter something buggy or broken while in-game, or just have some feedback for us? Tell us about it! We’re also building out a support ticket system for exactly that; it will go live shortly on the RawDataGame.com website. We’ll share the link in a pinned post once it’s live!

The Steam VR community has been a huge source of inspiration for us getting to this point, so we wanted to take a moment and thank you all for sticking with us as we make Raw Data a reality. Trust us: we’re extremely excited to get this game into your hands, and we can’t wait to hear your thoughts on it.
