After announcing last month that our next update would officially bring Oculus compatibility and cross-platform play to Raw Data, it’s finally here. Update 0.6 just went live on Steam and Oculus Home!
Today is an awesome day for the VR community: it’s the first fulfillment of Survios’ platform-agnostic vision for social, human-facing VR, and we’re continuing to explore new and exciting ways to enhance cross-platform socialization and communication. But for now, we’re stoked to welcome Oculus players into the Raw Data community and work together to unify the VR community, one robot kill at a time.
In addition to Oculus and cross-platform play, Update 0.6 also adds a bunch of badass new abilities to Boss and Saija, the deadly “Cataclysm” mission, a long-range turret, and a slew of other fixes and enhancements. Read the full patch notes for 0.6 in our Steam announcement post!
As always, we are truly grateful to our community for all the support and dedication. You guys rock! And please keep submitting the bugs. Thank you so much, and good luck with your latest objective.
P.S. Be sure to let your Steam and Oculus friends know that for a short time, Raw Data is on sale for 20% off on both platforms. There’s never been a better time to team up for the takedown!
